Delete Your Account

You can delete your ForgeMatrix account and all associated personal data at any time. This page explains how, and exactly what is deleted or kept.

ForgeMatrix FX (the "App") is operated by an independent individual developer trading under the name "ForgeStudio FX". You control your data and can request its deletion using either method below — you do not need to keep the app installed to do so.

Option 1 — Delete in the app (fastest)

Open ForgeMatrix and sign in.
Go to the Account tab.
Tap Delete account & data.
Confirm on the second prompt (Delete forever). Your account is scheduled for deletion immediately.

Option 2 — Delete by email (no app required)

Email privacy@forgestudiofx.com from the email address associated with your ForgeMatrix account, with the subject line "Delete my account". We will verify the request comes from your account email and delete your data. We respond within 30 days.

What data is deleted

Your account and sign-in identity (email address, or Google identity if you used Google sign-in).
Your display name and language preference.
Your scoring setup — the weight preset and any custom technical/fundamental weights and divergence sensitivity you saved.
Your alert rules, their trigger history, and your in-app alert inbox.
Your push-notification tokens.
Your AI Read usage and daily quota records.
Your subscription entitlement record.

All of the above is permanently erased from our systems within 30 days of your request. The account goes dark immediately — sign-in stops working and push notifications stop at once — and the 30-day window exists so an accidental deletion can be reversed by signing in again before it elapses.

Delete only some of your data (without closing your account)

You do not have to delete the whole account to remove data. Inside the app you can:

Delete any individual alert rule — Account → Alerts, then remove the rule. Its trigger history goes with it.
Turn off notifications — Account → Notifications. This deletes the notification token for this device from our servers.
Mark alert messages read, or delete the alert that produced them, to clear your inbox.

For anything else — a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of one specific category — email privacy@forgestudiofx.com from your account email address and say what you want removed. We respond within 30 days. Full detail: Delete Your Data.

What data is kept, and for how long

Tax and billing records — where you purchased a subscription, we are required by law to retain payment records for up to 10 years, even after account deletion. These are held by Google Play and our subscription provider, not linked to an active profile.
Anonymized diagnostic logs — crash and performance data, already scrubbed of personal identifiers, may persist in aggregate for up to 30 days.

Currency-strength scores, fundamental data and market history are not personal data: they are computed once for every user from market prices and public agency releases (CFTC, BIS, FRED), are never derived from your activity, and are unaffected by deletion.

Your subscription

Any active subscription is managed by Google Play, not by ForgeMatrix. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a subscription — cancel or manage it in your Google Play account under Payments & subscriptions to avoid further charges.
