ForgeMatrix (the "App") and the website at matrix.forgestudiofx.com are operated by an independent individual developer trading under the name "ForgeStudio FX" ("we", "us"). ForgeMatrix measures currency strength and fundamental indicators for forex and gold. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, and the rights you have over your data.

2.1 Information you provide
- Account data — the email address you sign up with, your display name, and your preferred language. If you create an account with email and password, your password is stored only as a salted hash by our authentication provider; we never see it in plain text. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic profile from Google; we never receive your Google password.
- ForgeMatrix preferences — your blend weights, the currencies you choose to watch, and your alert settings.
- Support correspondence — emails you send us, including any attachments.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Device and diagnostics — device model, operating system version, app version, and crash reports (sent to a third-party crash-reporting service, scrubbed of personal identifiers, to help us fix crashes).
- Push notification tokens — anonymous device identifiers from our push-notification provider, used only to deliver the alerts you enable.
- Purchase tokens — if you subscribe, Google Play purchase receipts (handled by our subscription-management provider) to validate your entitlement. We never receive your card details.
2.3 What we do NOT collect
- We do not collect your location.
- We do not access your contacts, photos, camera, or microphone — the app does not request these permissions at all.
- We do not connect to or read your broker account — ForgeMatrix is an analysis tool; you place all real trades yourself, elsewhere.
- We do not store your credit card or bank details — payment is handled entirely by Google Play.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Provide the service — compute currency strength and fundamental scores, deliver the alerts you enable, and store your preferences so they're available when you sign in from another device.
- Market and public data — we fetch forex and gold prices from a third-party market-data provider, and positioning, rate, and macro data from public agencies (the U.S. CFTC, the Bank for International Settlements, and the U.S. Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis), to compute the scores. No personal data is shared to obtain this data.
- Improve the product — analyze anonymized crash and diagnostic reports to fix bugs and improve stability.
- Communicate — send transactional emails (such as password reset or payment receipts) and, only if you opt in, occasional product updates.
- Security and abuse prevention — detect fraud, account takeover, and policy violations.
- Legal compliance — respond to lawful requests from authorities.
4. Who We Share Data With
We do not sell your personal data. We share limited data with the service providers that run the app:
- Cloud database & authentication — stores your account and preferences and verifies sign-in.
- Push notifications — delivers the alerts you enable to your device.
- Subscription & payment processing — manages Google Play purchases and your entitlement (we never receive card details).
- Error & crash diagnostics — receives anonymized crash and performance data, scrubbed of personal identifiers.
- Market data — supplies forex and gold prices (no user data is shared). Public-agency data (CFTC, BIS, FRED) is downloaded by us; those agencies receive no user data.
5. Data Retention
- Account and preference data — kept as long as your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
- Diagnostic logs — kept 30 days, then anonymized or deleted.
- Tax/billing records — kept up to 10 years where required by law, even after account deletion.
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent for optional processing. To exercise any of these, email privacy@forgestudiofx.com.
7. Account & Data Deletion
You can delete your ForgeMatrix account and data at any time: in the app open Account → Delete account and complete the confirmation, or email privacy@forgestudiofx.com from your account email address and we will delete it for you.
What is deleted: your account, your saved ForgeMatrix preferences, and your sign-in identity are permanently erased from our systems within 30 days. Any active subscription is managed by Google Play — cancel or manage it in your Google Play account.
8. Children
ForgeMatrix is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
